Hatters Suffer Overtime Loss in ASUN Quarterfinal

DeLand, Fla. -- In a game that was tied at the half, at the end of 3, and again at the end of regulation, UNF outscored Stetson 17-9 in the extra period to come away a 63-55 victory in the ASUN Quarterfinals Friday night at the Edmunds Center.

The Hatters (17-14) shot just 34 percent from the floor and were outrebounded 45-35.

Keona Farmer scored 22 points to lead the Ospreys (13-17), who advance to face Jacksonville in the ASUN semifinals.

The Hatters were led by Michelle Pruitt who recorded 13 points and nine rebounds, while McKenna Beach added 11 points and seven steals.

The seesaw contest featured eight ties and eight lead changes.  

UNF hit three 3-pointers in overtime to pull away.
