Biography

2016 (Junior): Appeared in 15 games, making 14 starts … tied for sixth on the team with 11 goals …. Enjoyed three multi-goal games … scored a season-high three goals in win over Howard … had two goals in games against Cincinnati and Central Michigan … season’s lone assist came against Old Dominion … tied for third with eight caused turnovers.

2015 (Sophomore): Appeared in and started all 17 games … tied for third on the team with 17 goals … also added three assists, 23 draw controls and 15 ground balls … scored two or more goals in five different games … scored a team season-high five goals in Stetson’s win at Howard … scored three goals in a game twice – against Niagara and Detroit … picked up four ground balls versus Presbyterian … had four draw controls at St. Joe’s … had two goals and a pair of assists in win over Delaware State.

2014 (Freshman): Played in 17 games, starting in 13 ... Scored two goals and dished out an assist ... Picked up 10 ground balls and won 15 draw controls.

High School: Attended John Carroll High School in Bel Air, Md., where she was an honor student ... Also a member of the Spanish Honor Society ... Played club lacrosse for North East Maryland Select.

Personal: Full name is Samantha Jo Maguire ... Daughter of Evelyn and Danny Maguire ... Has two sisters; Heather and Karli.
