NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Stetson graduate guard Mary McMillan, an Apopka, Fla. native, has been named to the Music City Classic All-Tournament Team, Coast 2 Coast Women's Basketball announced Monday. McMillan was one of five athletes selected to the First Team following a standout two-game performance in Nashville.
McMillan powered the Hatters to a 2-0 showing at the event, averaging 22.5 points, 4.5 assists, and 3.0 rebounds while shooting an elite 15-for-22 (.682) from the field. She was especially dominant from long range, finishing the Classic 10-for-15 (.667) from three-point distance.
Her efforts helped Stetson set a program record with 17 made three-pointers in the win over Northern Kentucky. McMillan played a pivotal role in that performance, scoring 21 points while dishing out six assists to guide the Hatters to an 89-63 victory.
She followed with a season-best showing against Saint Louis, posting 24 points—her highest scoring total since arriving at Stetson—along with three assists to close out the week.
McMillan totaled 45 points across the two contests, anchoring a Stetson offense that averaged 83 points per game during the Classic.
The full All-Tournament First Team, released by Coast 2 Coast WBB, included standouts from SMU, Saint Louis, Northern Kentucky, and Winthrop, with Arkansas' Taleyah Jones earning Tournament MVP honors.
McMillan and the Hatters return to action on Wednesday, Dec. 3, when they travel to Orlando to take on UCF at Addition Financial Arena.
