Hatters Hit the Century Mark in Win Over Warner

Kennedi Colclough Records First Career Double-Double

DeLand, Fla. – With over 1600 students from local elementary schools in attendance, Stetson put on an offensive display in a 100-34 victory over visiting Warner University Thursday afternoon at the Edmunds Center.

Ida Andersson thrilled the crowd with a last-second 3-pointer that put Stetson (9-2) over the century mark for the first time this season.

It was Stetson's second elementary school game of the season, following last week's matinee at Northern Kentucky.

"It was fun when we were on the road, but it sure is a lot more fun when you're here and they are cheering for you," Stetson head coach Lynn Bria said.  "The kids loved it."

Making her first-ever start, Kennedi Colclough had career-highs of 23 points and 12 rebounds in 29 minutes of action.  She was 8-for-10 from the floor and 2-for-2 from behind the arc.

"I thought Kennedi played really well," Bria said.  "I wanted her to play a lot of minutes for us today."

The Hatters also received 20 points from Brianti Saunders, 19 points from Breana Bey, and 12 points from Andersson.  Sarah Sagerer tallied nine points, 12 rebounds and four blocks.

The Hatters hit 13 3-pointers in the game, just one shy of the school record.  Stetson shot 58 percent from the floor and dished out a season-high 30 assists.

Twelve different Hatters played in the game with 10 players seeing over 15 minutes of action.

Stetson will host Palm Beach Atlantic at 1 p.m. Saturday.
