Women's Rowing MAAC Communications

Five Hatters Named to MAAC All-Academic Team

EDISON, NJ – A total of 132 student-athletes comprise the 2018 MAAC Women's Rowing All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Sacred Heart University had a league-high 18 student-athletes on the All-Academic Team. Drake University and Manhattan College both placed 17 student-athletes. Fairfield University had 16 student-athletes honored, followed by Marist College with 14. Jacksonville University, Robert Morris University and Canisius College placed 13, 12, and 11 student-athletes respectively on the All-Academic Team. Rounding out the team is Iona College with nine and Stetson University with five student-athletes a piece.
