Hatters Visit NJIT on Wednesday

Stetson men's basketball visits ASUN Conference foe NJIT, 7 p.m., Wednesday, in Newark, N.J. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+.

Fresh from a 67-55 upset of FGCU last Saturday, the Hatters (6-21 overall, 2-10 ASUN) will look to continue to gather some momentum with just four games left in the conference season.

Junior guard Marques Sumner leads the Hatters into Newark after securing ASUN Newcomer of the Week honors for his performance in two games last week. He scored a game-high 15 points for the Hatters against FGCU, and averaged 12.5 points and 3.5 rebounds as the Hatters went 1-1.

NJIT (18-9, 6-6) has lost its last four games including a 64-63 decision last Saturday North Florida. The Highlanders, however, defeated Stetson last month, winning 82-59 on Jan. 24 in DeLand.
