DeLAND, Fla. - The Stetson University baseball team has been recognized with the 2023-24 ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award, as announced by the organization on Wednesday . The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) honored over 800 member college and high school programs from across the nation, with nearly 350 high school programs and more than 470 collegiate programs receiving this year's award.

Teams from every level of college and high school baseball were celebrated for their academic achievements. Stetson baseball finished the academic year with a cumulative GPA of 3.152, marking the second consecutive year the Hatters have earned a spot.

While excelling in the classroom, the team also impressed on the diamond, claiming their ninth ASUN Championship title and making an appearance in the NCAA Regional.
