Stetson Women’s Soccer Wraps Up Regular Season

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Stetson found the back of the net twice in the second half, but the Hatters' late push came up short in a 6-2 result Saturday evening at the FGCU Soccer Complex.

After settling into the match, Stetson began to generate pressure through the midfield and create key offensive moments following halftime. In the 53rd minute, Katharina Marx put the Hatters on the board with a composed finish to cut into the deficit. Stetson continued to push forward, and the effort was rewarded again in the 70th minute when Kylie Laszaic scored off a connection from Eva McCoy and Madison Bell, bringing the Hatters within striking distance.

Stetson continued to create chances throughout the second half and earned multiple looks in the attacking third. Bell finished the day with two shots and an assist, while Marx and Laszaic each scored on their lone attempts. In goal, Riley Tarvin made three saves while facing 15 shots during her 70 minutes of action.

The match concludes the 2025 campaign for the Hatters, finishing the season just two points shy of qualifying for the ASUN Championship.
