DeLand, FL – Stetson infielders Lorenzo Meola, Landon Moran, and Yohann Dessureault were all named to D1Baseball.com's Preseason Player Rankings Top 50 by position. After being picked as the favorites to repeat as Atlantic Sun Conference champions, the Hatters' trio earned recognition among the nation's best at their respective positions.

Meola, the Hatters' RBI leader last season, was ranked 40th among shortstops. He played a key role in Stetson's ninth ASUN Championship title, contributing three home runs and nine RBIs in the postseason, which earned him ASUN Championship MVP honors. He also tied for the team lead in extra-base hits and drove in 58 runs, the seventh most in the conference.

Yohann Dessureault, a power-hitting second baseman, ranked 26th among second basemen, marking the highest preseason ranking for a Hatter this year. The Canadian slugger led the team in home runs and earned All-Regional honors along with second-team All-ASUN recognition. Dessureault was an ironman for Stetson, starting all 63 games and finishing the season with 11 homers and 41 RBIs. 

Landon Moran, a first baseman from the Orlando area, ranked 50th among first basemen. Known for his flashy glove and iconic diving catch over the tarp last season, Moran was also a steady presence offensively, driving in 38 runs on 61 hits and posting an on-base percentage of .430.
