Placed third at the FLRunners.com Invitational, leading the team to a first place victory in that event ... Finished in sixth place at the Embry-Riddle Classic with an 8K time of 27:21.1.

Led the team with a time of 27:05 at the Atlantic Sun Championships, placing 33rd overall ... Marked the fourth-fastest 8K time in school history.

2013: Competed in seven events ... Ran a season-best (8K) 27:28 at the Mountain Dew Invitational ... Placed eighth with a time of 28:12 at the Embry-Riddle Invitational ... Completed the A-Sun Championship with a team-best time of 27:56 ... ASUN Honor Roll.

High School: Ran cross country and track at Hillsboro High School. Earned the Team Leadership Award, the Most Improved Award, and was named All-District.  Holds personal bests of 4:40 in the mile, 10:06 in the two mile, and 16:58 in the 5K.  Also has personal best times of 28:10 in the 5 mile, and 36:54 in the 10K.  Earned the Scholar Athlete Award and was an honors student.

Personal: Son of Fred and Michele Beery. Has two siblings; Jillian Beery-Smith and Jobeth Lee. Majoring in Philosophy and Russian Studies.
