2007: Peters appeared in 64 games as a junior, starting 31 games in right field and two at designated player. She collected 16 hits in 83 at-bats with 22 runs scored and 10 stolen bases. Against A-Sun rival Jacksonville in the opener of a May 3 doubleheader, Peters went three for four at the plate with two stolen bases and scored two runs in a 6-0 Hatter victory. She followed that up with two more hits, two more stolen bases and a run scored as Stetson also took the nightcap 6-1. Peters holds the distinction of collecting the first NCAA Tournament base hit in Stetson history, singling off Florida’s Second Team All-American Stacey Nelson in the third inning.
