2004: Named to the Atlantic Sun all-freshman team … Started 57 games, including 19 at catcher and 38 at designated hitter … Tied for seventh in the A-Sun in doubles and RBI, and tied for 11th in hits … Tied for second on the team in RBI … Posted 23 multi-hit games, and 12 multi-hit RBI games … Went 3-for-6 with a home run, two RBI and three runs scored in his collegiate debut vs. VMI (Feb. 15) … Hit his second home run, a three run blast, vs. St. Joseph’s (Feb. 22) … Went 4-for-4 with three runs and three RBI vs. Virginia Tech (Feb. 27) … Batted .515 in the month of February … Went 4-for-5 vs. FAMU (Mar. 7) … Drove in four runs at Bethune-Cookman (Mar. 9) … Collected seven hits and six RBI in the Mercer series … Also had three-hit games vs. Bethune-Cookman (Mar. 31) and USF (Apr. 6). 

High School: Batted .551 with 10 doubles, six triples, seven home runs and 45 RBI as a senior … Named first-team All-State and a Louisville Slugger All-American … Broke the school record with three home runs in one game … Was selected to the Mississippi High School All-Star game … Batted .373 with 10 doubles, three home runs, and 34 RBI as a junior … Helped Madison Central win the Class 5A State Championship … Was named the Clarion-Ledger Top Performer of the Week three times and twice earned all-metro honors … Was named a Team one Baseball Top-100 high school prospect and was selected to the Team One National Showcase in Las Vegas, Nev … Was ranked a Top-150 National High School prospect and the top high school catcher prospect in the state of Mississippi by Baseball America.
