High School: Was a two-time All-State, four-time all-region, two-time all-city, and two-time all-middle Georgia performer at First Presbyterian Day School … Was 9-3 with a .097 ERA and 120 strikeouts as a senior … Also hit .400 with 10 home runs and 55 RBI … Was named Middle Georgia Player of the Year … Tallied 334 career strikeouts 25 career home runs and 123 RBI … Also lettered in soccer and basketball … Helped lead the basketball team to the 2004 State Championship title.
