High School: Went to DeLand High School … Played Linebacker, Receiver, Center, Guard and Long Snapper …  A member of the 2009 State Runners-Up team, as well as a the 2008 District Runners-Up and the 2010 and 2011 District Championship teams … Recorded 30 pancakes and two fumble recoveries … Also played baseball, posting a .380 average with two home runs and 20 RBI as a senior ... Was also a weightlifted ... Was a four-year member of the Academic Honor Roll and was twice named student of the Month ... Was enrolled in an Engineering internship with Covidian during his senior year ... Was a member of the Engineering Club ... Was involved in community work through the Deltona Church Youth Club and Aberdeen Glass Company ... Was a trumpet player in the band in middle school. 

Personal: Full name is Nicholas Paul Franzese ... Was born on October 25, 1994, on Staten Island in New York ... Is the son of Debra Franzese-Castellano and Joseph Franzese ... His cousin is actor Ray Liotta … Has one brother, Joseph (19), who attends FIT … Chose Stetson because of the prestigious Finance program and because they have the right balance between academics and athletics … His step-dad, Anthony Castellano, is a retired New York City Fire Department Lieutenant and a survivor of the 9/11 attacks on New York City.
