High School: As a senior for coach Mike Peterson at Red Mountain HS in Mesa, Ariz., he led the team to an East Valley Section championship … Was named the East Valley Offensive Player of the year, passing for 2,530 yards and 25 touchdowns while leading the team to a 9-3 record … As a junior for coach Jeff Matthews at Sidney HS in New York he passed for 2,749 yards and 32 touchdowns in leading the Warriors to a 7-2 record … He averaged 305.4 passing yards per game, ranking second all-time for NYS Region …. Was a Max Preps Northeast Region Player of the Week while setting a Section 4 and school record for most passing yards in a game with 516 yards in the season finale ….
