Tied for 10th in hits with 26 and 7th in home runs with three... One of eight Hatters with slugging percentage over .400 (.409)... Had seven multiple-hit games and four multiple-RBI games... Longest hitting streak was three games... Had a 3-for-5 game with a home run and three RBI against South Florida (4/15/08)... Was 2-for-4 with a home run and a pair of RBI at Belmont (4/12/08)... Hit a 2-run home run against Mercer (3/29/08).

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Immaculata High School in Somerville, New Jersey... Member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honors Society... Earned the Leadership Award and Community Service Award... Played Parochial 1-A baseball under head coach Tom Gambino... Helped team finish runner up in Northern A State Championship... Named varsity team captain junior and senior seasons... First Team All-County, First Team All-Parochial, First Team All-Conference and First Team All-Area honors... Biggest thrill was playing in two state championship games... Hit .436 with six home runs and 45 RBI as a junior.

PERSONAL: Frank Florio was born February 23, 1989, in Dover, New Jersey... Son of Rozanne and Frank Florio of Long Valley, New Jersey... After graduation would like to run for political office... Majoring in Political Science at Stetson.
