Biography

Danielle returned to the Stetson women's golf family in August, 2016, as assistant coach. She was inducted into the Stetson Athletics Hall of Fame in October, 2015.

Since graduating from Stetson in 2010, she competed on the Futures Tour and Canadian Tour. After her playing career, she went to working in Dallas, Texas, as the Pro Shop Manager/Assistant Golf Professional at The Clubs of Prestonwood.

Danielle is currently working on her PGA Class A certification. She is excited to be back at Stetson and to have the opportunity to coach a talented group of young women.

Danielle and her husband, Michael, live in DeLand with their two boxers, Abby and Cooper.

Here are her career highlights as a player for the Hatters from 2006-10.

2009-10: Second Team All-Atlantic Sun ... A-Sun All-Academic Team ... Posted a 75.5 stroke average over 31 rounds ... Graduated with Stetson program record for career stroke average (now second) ... Posted six top 10 finishes ... Was fourth at the USF Waterlefe Invitational ... Tied for fifth at MSU Ocala Spring Invitational ... Tied for 15th at A-Sun Championship ... Competed in NCAA East Regional ... Shot par or better five times ... Season-low 70 in the first round of the FIU Pat Bradley Invitational.

 

2008-09: Atlantic Sun Tournament Champion ...GolfWorld National Player of the Week ... First Team All-Atlantic Sun ... Atlantic Sun All-Tournament Team ... Stetson University Female Student-Athlete of the Year ... November 2008 A-Sun Golfer of the Month ... Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team ... Had a school record 75.3 stroke average over 26 rounds ... Dominant golfer at Victoria Hills with tournament victories in both the Holiday Inn Express Hatter Fall Classic and A-Sun Championship ... Had five rounds of even par or better ... Tied conference final round record with three under par 69 at A-Sun Championship to lead Stetson to the victory ... Shot 72 in second round of NCAA East Regional ... Had a 69 in second round of Pat Bradley Invitational to end up sixth ... Tied for second at NIU Snowbird Invitational.

 

2007-08: First Team All-Atlantic Sun ... Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team ... Had a team-best 76.3 stroke average over 25 rounds ... Earned First Team All-Atlantic Sun honors, the first Hatter in four years to make that list ... Won the Cincinnati Spring Invitational title with final round surge to three under par 69 ... Beat 70 other golfers in that tournament ... Had four other top five finishes during the year included tying for second at Jacksonville Invitational, tie for third at DeBary Intercollegiate and fifth place finishes at FGCU Invitational and Hatter Fall Classic ... Helped Stetson win the HFC team title for the first time ... Tied for sixth at UNCG Starmount Invitational ... Tied for 15th place at Atlantic Sun Championship.

 

2006-07:  Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team ... Had a 76.2 stroke average over 24 rounds ... Seventh place finish at Atlantic Sun Championships ... Tied with Lauren Darnell and two others for individual crown at NIU Snowbird Intercollegiate (+8 in 36 holes) as Hatters won the tournament ... Her first round 69 led to third place finish the previous week at Treasure Coast Classic in another Stetson team championship ... Also won the DeBary Intercollegiate with school records for single round (68) and 36-hole score (141) ... Tied for fifth at season-opening Lady Falcon Invitational. 

Prior to Stetson:  Two-time St. Petersburg Times Player of The Year ... First team All-County five times ... Led the Northside Christian golf team to a Florida 1A State High School Championship in 2004 ... District and regional Champions two years in a row ... Was a two-time third place finisher at the state championship ... Was five-time team MVP ... Also played four years of varsity basketball, scoring 1,281 career points.

Why I chose to be a Hatter - I loved the school, the golf team, the coach and it was close to my family

Favorite course I have played - Banbury CC in Boise, Idaho

Most memorable golf moment - winning the A-Sun championship as a team and individually.

Most inspirational people in my golfing life - my parents for their support (financially and emotionally!!) and Coach Kerr for taking a chance on me and my golf game.  Coach has also made me an all-around better player and competitor.
