High School: 2017 graduate from T.C. Williams High School, Alexandria, Va. … she won the Junior 8 Category State Champion in 2016, the Women’s Lightweight Double Category in 2017, and won Silver at the SRAA National Championship (Ltwt 2x) in 2017.
Personal: Born May 12, 1999… daughter of Mario Fernandez and Cecilia Chacon… she has four brothers Otto, Levy, Mario, and Jose… considered attending the Universities of George Mason, Barry, Virginia Commonwealth, and Drake… choose Stetson because of the campus atmosphere and the Rowing Program… majoring in Sociology.
