Larry Bell came to Stetson, via partnership with Advent Health, from Edward Waters College in Jacksonville. He spent three and a half years as the head athletic trainer for the Tigers while, at the same time, earning a Master of Science degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Adams State University in Alamosa, Colo.

He received his undergraduate degree from Valdosta State University’s Athletic Training Education Program in 2006, earning a Bachelor's of Science degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training. While at Valdosta State as a student, he worked with Blazers baseball and men’s basketball teams while also working with the student-athletes at Lowndes High School.

He began his career as an Athletic Trainer at Seminole High School in Sanford where he was a teacher in the physical education department and Academy of Health Careers while simultaneously serving the student-athlete population on campus.

At Stetson, Bell’s primary sport responsibilities are with the indoor volleyball and women's lacrosee.
