Mark Weaver begins his first year in the Stetson University Athletics Communications office. He is the primary contact for men's basketball, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's tennis, rowing, and lacrosse.
Weaver comes to Stetson from University of Lynchburg in Lynchburg, Virginia where he served as the Graduate Assistant Sports Information Director for two years. In the role, Weaver was the primary contact for cross country, women's soccer, field hockey, track & field, men's basketball, and baseball. He oversaw the publication of all media, statistics, record keeping and provided content for and updated all information for the Lynchburg athletics website for each of his teams. During his two years at Lynchburg, Weaver oversaw coverage for 10 Old Dominion Athletic Conference championships, two NCAA tournaments and one NCAA track meet.
A Poughkeepsie, N.Y. native, Weaver graduated from Susquehanna University in May of 2019 with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and Sports Media. During his time at SU, he was a member of the RiverHawks baseball and track & field teams. Upon graduation from SU, Weaver took the graduate assistant position at University of Lynchburg where he earned a Master's in Business Administration in 2021.
Weaver now resides in New Smyrna Beach.
