2025 Expansion & Renovation
The Cooper Beach Volleyball Complex underwent a significant expansion in 2025 with the addition of two courts, bringing the facility to five full-size competition courts.

Growing with the Program
The facility has undergone several major improvements as Stetson Beach Volleyball has developed from one of the sport's original collegiate programs into a nationally recognized program.
2015

The complex's first major renovation included construction of Cooper Pavilion, adding permanent restrooms, outdoor heated showers and a covered patio area for spectators.
2017

A second renovation provided the Hatters with their own team building, featuring a locker room, player lounge, kitchenette, restroom and shower area.
2025

Three ASUN Championships Hosted — Three Hatter Titles
The Cooper Beach Volleyball Complex served as the host site for the ASUN Beach Volleyball Championship in 2017, 2018 and 2019. Stetson captured the conference championship on its home sand in all three seasons.
A Nationally Recognized Program
A Championship Tradition
Stetson was among the founding programs of collegiate beach volleyball in 2012 and has built one of the sport's most consistent championship traditions.
The Hatters captured their eighth ASUN Championship in 2026, sweeping North Florida in the title match and earning another trip to the NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship.
Recent Hatter Success
The expanded five-court complex opened in 2025 and immediately became the setting for another strong chapter of Stetson Beach Volleyball. The Hatters opened the renovated courts with four consecutive 5-0 victories during the Stetson Spring Fling.
In 2026, Stetson finished 27-10 overall, won its eighth ASUN title and returned to the NCAA Championship. The postseason appearance capped a fifth consecutive 20-win season for the program.
