Stetson Finishes Competition at?Hurricane Invitational?

Coral Gables, Fla. --?Stetson wrapped up the weekend with two?singles wins and?two doubles wins against Georgia Southern Sunday?morning at the Hurricane Invitational.

Freshman Peter Dzuba (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.) earned a 7-6, 6-3 singles victory against Neil Shine at the fourth position and senior Birger Soiland (Stabekk, Norway) defeated Jakub Hanusz 6-2, 6-2 at the no. 5.

The team of Marcus Echtler (Venice, Fla.) and Sergei Boulanov (Bradenton, Fla.) downed Vincent Patry and Phillip Prins 8-5 at the no. 1 doubles. Dzuba and Soiland also topped Hanusz and Charles-Henri Trottet 8-3 at the third spot. ?

The Hatters?are in action again Oct. 7-9 when they compete in the?C.L. Varner Invitational in Orlando. ?
