Wofford Tops Stetson, 5-2, In Hatters' Season Opener

DeLand, Fla. - Stetson? women's tennis opened its 2004 spring schedule with a 5-2 loss to Wofford?Saturday at the Mandy Stoll Tennis Center.?
"It was a great match - we learned alot about ourselves today," said head coach Sasha Schmid.?
Junior Jackie Bohannon (Sarasota, Fla.) had a great day for the Hatters,?winning with senior Beth Hayden (Racine, Iowa) at #2 doubles and also earning a win at #3 singles. Sophomore Marina Levin (Vancover, British Columbia) also picked a win at the fourth position for the Hatters. With freshman Sophie Hartog (Fort de France, Martinique) out?due to injury, freshman?Ashley Eville (Clearwater, Fla.) and sophomore Danielle Mollman (Panama City, Fla.)?made their Stetson debuts today in singles and doubles, respectively.?
"We took many positives away fromthe match. Now we are going to get a good rest tonight and come back ready for another tough challenge tomorrow versus Georgia Southern," said Schmid. Wofford 5, Stetson 2
