Athens, Ga. - Stetson women's tennis?finshed the day 7-1?in singles?at the ITA South Regionals Friday at the University of Georgia's Dan Magill Tennis Complex.

In Flight B Singles, senior Beth Hayden (Racine, Wis.), sophomore Marina Levin (Vancouver, British Columbia) and freshman Sophie Hartog (Fort de France, Martinique) all won first and second round matches. Hayden defeated fellow Atlantic Sun Conference player Luiz Angela Garcia from Troy State, 1-6, 6-4, 6-0, then downed Florida State's Nicole Cercone, 6-2, 4-6, 6-3.?Levin and Hartog topped?Southern Miss players Grace Kammerer (2-6, 7-5, 6-2) and Katharina Sadofsky (6-4, 7-6 (3). Levin then defeated Martina Strussova from Jacksonville (6-3, 6-1) and Hartog defeated Troy State's Laura Alarcon (7-6 (1), 7-5).?

Fourth-seeded junior Jackie Bohannon (Sarasota, Fla.)?also won 6-3, 6-1, over Evan Epps from Auburn in the first round of?Flight B singles.

Sophomore Milica Milovanovic (Kilchberg, Sweden)?fell 6-3, 6-2 in the first round of Flight A singles to Emese Sulyos from Jackonville. After suffering from injury, Milovanovic has withdrawn from competition for the remainder of the tournament.

All four remaining players will advance to the third round of 16 in Flight B singles Saturday. Doubles play will begin?following the conclusion of singles matches Saturday afternoon. ?
