Ft. Myers, Fla. --  The women's golf team got another strong performance by Ashley Kozlowski this weekend.  Kozlowski was the top finisher for the Stetson team and placed in a three-way tie for 14th overall.

The Hatters numbers in the first round as a team, was 306, while individually Ashley Kozlowski placed first on the team with a first round score of 75.  Second was Lauren Darnell with a score of 76, followed closely by her teammate Danielle Jackson with a score of 77.  Kara Doyle and Ainsley Wellinghoff rounded out the Hatters with scores of 78 and 81 for the first round.

In the second day of tournament play, Kozlowski again took the lead for the team scoring 79.  Danielle Jackson would pull into second with a score of 80, while Lauren Darnell and Kara Doyle tied with 84.  Ainsley Wellinghoff scored a 91. 

The final total put Kozlowski in a tie for 14th place at 154, (+10).  Danielle Jackson tied for 21st with a total score of 157, (+13).  Lauren Darnell tied for 25th with a score of 160, (+16) and Kara Doyle tied for 28th place scoring 162, (+18).  Ainsley Wellinghoff finished the tournament with a score of 172, (+28), to put her in 38th place overall.
