DeLand,, Fla. - Thanks to a 3-1 week that included wins over Florida and conference rival Mercer, the Stetson baseball team has cracked Ping! Baseball's Top 30.  The Hatters also received consideration in the Rivals.com Top 25 poll and the USA Today/Coaches Poll. 

Stetson is off a 20-8 start with non-conference wins over LSU, Notre Dame, Louisville, South Florida, Michigan State, and Central Michigan.  The Hatters have also taken two out of three games from conference foes North Florida and Mercer.

In addition to the team success, Stetson has also claimed several individual awards with three A-Sun Pitchers of the Week, two A-Sun Players of the Week, and two College Baseball Foundation Weekly Honor Roll appearances. 

The Hatters season continues Tuesday when former conference rival Central Florida visits Melching Field for a 7:00 p.m. first pitch.
