Also coming up with multiple hits was junior Jacob deGrom (DeLeon Springs, Fla.) with a pair of doubles and an RBI.

Jacob deGrom and Lashley led off with back-to-back doubles. deGrom scored on Lashley's hit and Lashley crossed the plate after an RBI single to left center by Theisen.

The Saints refused to give up and worked their way back into the game with five runs in the 5th off of starting pitcher Will Dorsey (Atlantic Beach, Fla.) and two more in the 6th against reliever Nick Bohne (Melbourne, Fla.) to make the score 11-8.

Stetson added a pair of insurance runs in the bottom half of the 7th. Lashley singled through the left side to start things off and Jeff Simpson (Valrico, Fla.) followed with an infield single. After Theisen moved the runners over, Jones ripped a double down the right field line for two RBI.

Dorsey pitched five complete innings striking out three and picking up his first win of the season in his first appearance.
