To all my players, I want to express my sincere appreciation for the support and love you have shown me throughout my father's battle with dementia.  His long struggle with the disease ended on December 24, 2011.

As it is often said, “sport builds character”, but I also believe it reveals character.  I am very comforted by the manner in which my team has handled this situation and I am proud to know that they showed amazing support for me throughout this long and difficult journey with my father, Dr. Thomas Fleck, Jr.

I want to thank the outstanding family of coaches, staff, and administrators of the Stetson Athletic Department and the entire Stetson University family for all the love and support they have shown me over the past four years.

It has not been an easy time, but the Stetson University family has continued to keep my spirits as high as possible, always offering their sincere and genuine support of the situation with my father.  I could not think of a better place to be than here at Stetson University, with the wonderful people who make up this incredible university.

As always, the support given to me by the Stetson Soccer nation has been nothing short of spectacular and miraculous.
