Lepinay, Fernandez Close Clay Courts With Wins

Eveline Lepinay and Isabella Fernandez closed their respective fall seasons on high notes as each won a singles match on Stetson's final day at the USTA Clay Court Invitational, Saturday at ESPN's Wide World of Sports and Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando.

Lepinay picked up her second singles win of the weekend when she defeated Zoe Chen of Louisiana Tech, 6-1, 6-1. Lepinay also earned a doubles victory earlier in the weekend, teaming with Maja Salibasic for the victory.

Fernandez, playing her first tournament of the fall, battled for a three set victory against Youngstown State's Dominika Lackova, winning 6-4, 2-6, 10-6.
