Kennesaw, Ga. -- The Stetson softball team dropped both ends of an Atlantic Sun Conference doubleheader at Kennesaw State Friday afternoon, falling by scores of 4-1 and 8-0 at Bailey Park.
The teams will play the third and final game of the series at 1 p.m. Saturday.
The Hatters (23-16, 2-3 A-Sun) managed just one run and eight hits in the two games. Jessie TenBroeck, Kelsey Waters, and Talli Sharp collected two hits apiece. TenBroeck drove in the lone run of the day for the Hatters in game one.
Curstin Taylor pitched five scoreless innings of relief in the opener, allowing just three hits. She walked none and struck out two.
The Owls improved to 20-10 overall, 4-1 in the A-Sun.
