Hatters Continue Road Trip Monday at Lipscomb

Nashville, Tenn. -- Fresh off a 65-56 win at Kennesaw State Saturday, the Stetson women's basketball team will go for two in a row Monday night when the Hatters square off against the Lipscomb Lady Bisons.  The teams will tip-off at 7:30 p.m. ET at Allen Arena with live coverage on WatchESPN and WSBB radio.

Stetson leads the all-time series 20-7 over Lipscomb.  The Hatters (12-5, 1-1 ASUN) have won the last 12 head-to-head meetings with the Lady Bisons (3-14, 0-2).

In addition to the live broadcasts, live stats, the Stetson women's basketball twitter feed (@StetsonWBB), and the new HatCheck text messaging system will provide in-game updates as well.

Streaking
Brianti Saunders led the Hatters with 16 points in Saturday's win, going 6-for-10 from the floor and 3-for-6 from behind the arc.  She is averaging 16.5 points per game this season and has scored in double figures in all 17 games.

Playing a Full 40
Saunders played all 40 minutes Saturday, playing through non-stop blanket coverage from KSU defenders.  "I thought (Bri) worked extremely hard today," head coach Lynn Bria said after the game.  Saunders is the first Hatter to play a complete game since Myka Johnson-Matthews played 40 minutes at FGCU last season.

Block Party
Sarah Sagerer added six blocks Saturday to her season total, which now stands at 57.  That mark already ranks as the fourth-highest single-season total in school history.  Sagerer ranks sixth in the NCAA in blocks and seventh in blocks-per-game (3.3).

Off the Bench
The Hatters also got great contributions off the bench Saturday from Ida Andersson, McKenna Beach, DeAsia Beal, and Kennedi Colclough. The quartet combined for 14 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists, and also did not commit a turnover in 64 minutes combined.

From the Line
After hitting 16-of-22 free throws Saturday, Stetson continues to lead the NCAA in team free throw percentage with an .817 mark.  Saunders ranks ninth in the nation among all individuals with a .925 percentage from the line.
