Hatters Begin Homestand Monday Night vs. High Point

McKenna Beach registered a double-double vs. Providence

DeLand, Fla. -- After playing three games in three days last week at the Savannah Invitational, Stetson will begin a three-game homestand at 7 p.m. Monday night against High Point.

The game will be broadcast live on ESPN3 and WSBB radio.

The Hatters (3-3) went 1-2 in Savannah, earning a decisive 85-71 win over Florida but falling to Wright State and Providence.   McKenna Beach earned all-tournament team honors after averaging 14.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. She recorded career-highs of 18 points and 13 rebounds against Providence and went a perfect 4-for-4 from behind the arc in that game.

For the season, Brittney Chambers leads the ASUN in scoring (17.5 ppg), while Kennedi Colclough ranks second in the league (16.0) in points-per-game.  In addition, Beach leads the ASUN in assists (4.7 apg) and Megan Vincent ranks second in blocks (1.7 bpg).

High Point (2-2), meanwhile, has not played since posting an 82-69 victory over Barton on Tuesday.  Emma Bockrath averages a double-double (13.3/10.3) for the Panthers.

Monday's game will complete a two-year home-and-home series between the two schools.  The Hatters defeated the Panthers 81-47 last year at High Point.

Tickets start at just $7 for general admission and can be purchased online or at the Edmunds Center box office.  Stetson students, faculty and staff are admitted free with an ID.

In addition to the live broadcasts, live stats, the Stetson women's basketball twitter feed, and the HatCheck text messaging service will provide live updates as well.

Later this week, the Hatters will host Northern Kentucky on Wednesday evening and Webber on Friday morning.
