Hatters Host Lipscomb, Say Goodbye to Pegg on Saturday

Stetson men's basketball closes out their 2016-17 home schedule when the Hatters host Atlantic Sun Conference co-leader Lipscomb, 4 p.m., Saturday at Edmunds Center. The game can be seen on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app, and can be heard in Volusia County on WSBB AM 1230 and 1490 or worldwide on myam1230.com.
 
Saturday's game will also serve as Senior Day as the Hatters honor their lone senior, Brian Pegg, in pregame ceremonies. Team manager Marshall Buschbaum will also be recognized.
 
The Hatters (10-17 overall, 2-8 ASUN) will be looking to bounce back after a 92-85 loss to Kennesaw State on Thursday. Junior Divine Myles scored a career-high 30 points against the Owls, as Stetson nearly rallied from a 19-point second half deficit.
 
Lipscomb (16-11, 8-2) suddenly finds itself tied atop the ASUN standings after defeating previous league leader FGCU, 65-60, In Fort Myers on Thursday. The Bisons have won five straight games.

News & Notes
•Stetson's lone senior Brian Pegg will be honored in pregame ceremonies on Saturday. Pegg has played in 108 career games, scored 1,045 career points and has 742 career rebounds entering Saturday. A 2-time ASUN All-Academic selection and a 2015 CoSIDA Academic All-District pick, Pegg is currently pursuing his MBA. He graduated last May with a degree in Finance.
•Team manager Marshall Buschbaum will also be honored on Saturday
•Divine Myles scored a career-high 30 points in Thursday's loss to Kennesaw State. Myles' previous career-high of 29 happened just eight days prior at Bethune-Cookman. The junior guard played all 40 minutes for the second time in three games.
•Stetson's 6 assists on Thursday were its fewest since also having 6 against Radford on Nov. 25.
