Men's Soccer Athletic Communications

Hatters Down Florida Southern

Stetson picked up a 1-0 win over Florida Southern in a men's soccer exhibition game, Thursday at the Athletic Training Center in DeLand.
 
Stetson goalkeepers Braeden Luna and Joseph Melong combined for the shutout as Stetson's defense limited the Mocs to just three shots.
 
Sophomore Raphael Northoff scored the game's only goal, finding the back of the net in the 69th minute off a double assist from Elvis Menayese and David Bergstrom.
 
The Hatters finished the game with 19 shots.
 
Stetson concludes its exhibition schedule when the Hatters visit Eastern Florida State on Sunday.
