Winners of five of their last seven games, the Stetson Hatters will begin a short two-game road trip Thursday night at Jacksonville University.  Tip-off at Swisher Gym is set for 7 p.m. with live coverage on ESPN3.

The Hatters (13-9, 4-2 ASUN) enter the contest in third place in the ASUN standings, just one game behind the Dolphins (15-6, 5-1 ASUN).

"I think there are three keys to the game - rebounding, rebounding, and rebounding," Stetson head coach Lynn Bria quipped. "Obviously, I think that is going to be important.  We have become a better rebounding team, and I think they are a very good rebounding team.  So we have to match them on the boards, and we have to match their physical play."

The Dolphins lead the ASUN in team rebounding (41.6 rpg), while the Hatters have vaulted from seventh place to second place (36.6 rpg) after a strong run over the past five games.

While senior Brittney Chambers continues to lead the league in scoring (17.3 ppg), she is quickly moving up the rebounding charts as well.  She currently ranks sixth in the league in rebounding (6.7), and in conference play, Chambers is rebounding at a league-best 9.2 clip.  She has collected three double-doubles in her last four games.

Michelle Pruitt has also been stepping up her play of late.  In her last four games, the Hatter freshman is averaging 12.3 points and 7.5 rebounds-per-game while shooting 53 percent from the floor. She was named ASUN Freshman of the Week on Tuesday, while Chambers earned her her fourth Player of the Week honor this season.

One trend the Hatters would like to reverse is in the area of turnovers.  Stetson has committed 20 or more turnovers three times in its last four games.

"I think the other key for us is taking care of the basketball," Bria said.  "We have to value the ball and be smart in what we do.  We have to be smart in our shot selection as well."

Jasmyn Brown leads the Dolphins in scoring (13.4 ppg), while Kayla Gordon is the ASUN leader in rebounding (9.0 rpg).

Stetson leads the all-time series 26-14 over Jacksonville. The Hatters have won 14 of the last 15 head-to-head meetings, including both meetings last season.

In addition to the live broadcast, live stats, the Stetson women's basketball twitter feed (@StetsonWBB), and the HatCheck text messaging system will have live updates as well.

65 is the Magic Number
Stetson is 9-0 this season when scoring 65 points or more.  The Hatters are 39-2 in their last 41 games when scoring 65 points or more.

Tully Impresses
Sophomore Jordan Tully had an impressive nine-point, six-rebound, two-block performance Saturday vs. UNF.  She ranks second in the league with nine blocked shots in conference play.

Meertens Gaining Momentum
In ASUN play, freshman Shania Meertens is averaging 7.5 points and 4.8 rebounds-per-game, a nice bump from her 4.8 and 2.1 averages in non-conference play.

ASUN Midway Point
After Thursday's game, the Hatters will have reached the midway point of conference play.  The second half starts Saturday afternoon at UNF.
