Alabama native Jon'Nita Henry is headed home, and she couldn't be more excited.

Henry grew up in the small town of Brent, Ala., just 30 minutes outside of Tuscaloosa.  Her mom worked for the University of Alabama and her family would often attend Crimson Tide football and basketball games.  Henry said she imagined herself one day playing for Alabama.

"When I was younger, it was always a dream to play there," Henry said. "Sometimes, things happen a little differently."

Instead of wearing Crimson, Henry will suit up in Stetson green when the Hatters visit Alabama at 8 p.m. ET Tuesday night at Coleman Coliseum.  The game will be broadcast live on the SEC+ Digital Network.

It will be the first-ever meeting between Stetson and Alabama.

Henry says she expects a large contingent of family and friends to be at the game, including support from her former Bibb County High School coaches and teammates.

However, there will be one fan in attendance that will make Tuesday's game extra special for Henry - her 10-month old daughter A'Riyal.

"I am so happy she gets to actually see me play," Henry said.  "I already got her a Stetson outfit and everything.  I am so excited."

Henry, a junior college transfer, is in her first season at Stetson after earning her Associates degree from Snead State College in Boaz, Ala.

"It was good to venture out and experience something different," Henry said about her decision to leave Alabama and attend Stetson.  "It felt like home as soon as I got here.  It's a great place to get an education, and it's a blessing to be a part of it."

Henry had a solid weekend for the Hatters at the Challenge in Music City.  After scoring nine points on Friday and 10 more on Saturday, she was rewarded with her first start as a Hatter on Sunday.

"Jon'Nita is just an inspiration," Stetson head coach Lynn Bria said.  "We all like her so much.  She just has a great spirit, and she plays so hard.  She is such a great teammate and a good kid to coach.  Her daughter has been a blessing.  She loves her little girl.  I just have a ton of respect for her as a person, as a mom, and as a student-athlete."

While the Hatters (0-5) are still seeking their first win of the season, Henry says she is confident the team will start seeing some positive results.

"There is something about this group that makes me feel like we can overcome anything," Henry said.  "If you are never down, you are never going to know what up is like.  We have to keep working hard, but we are going to get it together."

In addition to the video coverage, live stats, Twitter (@StetsonWBB), and the HatCheck text messaging service will provide live updates as well.

The Crimson Tide
Alabama is 4-1 on the season with wins over Southeastern Louisiana, SMU, Clemson and Grambling State.  Jasmine Walker leads the Crimson Tide in scoring (15.6 ppg) and rebounding (8.6 rpg).

"They are a very good team, a very athletic team, and they are going to do really well in their league this year," Bria said. "They have good balance with their inside-outside game.  We have to play well."

Win Streak
The Hatters have a modest one-game win streak against the SEC, following last year's 85-71 win over Florida in Savannah, Ga.

Sagerer Honored
Redshirt senior Sarah Sagerer earned Challenge in Music City all-tournament team honors after averaging 16.3 points, 9.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocks-per-game during the event.  She finished the tournament with a 21-point, 15-board, 6-block effort against Hofstra.
