Six days after squaring off in Jacksonville, the Stetson Hatters and Jacksonville Dolphins will meet again at the Edmunds Center Wednesday night.  Tip-off for the ASUN affair is set for 7 p.m. with live coverage on ESPN3.

The Hatters (14-10, 5-3 ASUN) enter the contest tied for third place in the ASUN standings, just one game behind the Dolphins (16-7, 6-2 ASUN).

Stetson is 2-1 so far in its four-game stretch of playing JU and UNF back-to-back.  Stetson head coach Lynn Bria has especially liked the team's effort of late.

"I thought (Saturday) was our best effort of the year," Bria said following the win at UNF, then reconsidered. "Actually, I think our last few games we have had great effort. So I can't just say this game, but I thought we executed on both ends of the floor."

Execution, especially on the offensive end, will be a key to Wednesday's rematch with the Dolphins.  Last Thursday, the Hatters were just 2-for-10 shooting in third quarter when JU took the lead for good.

Brittney Chambers currently leads the team and ranks third in the ASUN in scoring (17.3 ppg).  She has scored in double figures in 23 of the team's 24 games this season.

Michelle Pruitt, recently named ASUN Freshman of the Week for the third time this season, is averaging 13.8 points and 8.0 rebounds over her last six games.

The Dolphins, meanwhile, lead the ASUN in scoring defense (59.6 ppg) and rebounding (41.4).  Both teams are averaging over 42 rebounds-per-game in conference play.

Although JU won last week's meeting, 73-63, the Hatters still own a 26-15 edge in the all-time series, including a 14-4 advantage at the Edmunds Center.

General admission tickets start at just $7 and can be purchased online (GoHatters.com/tix) or at the Edmunds Center box office.  Stetson students, faculty, and staff are admitted free with a valid ID.

In addition to the live broadcast, live stats, the Stetson women's basketball twitter feed (@StetsonWBB), and the HatCheck text messaging system will have live updates as well.

Home Sweet Home
Stetson is 9-1 at the Edmunds Center this year and have won seven straight.  The Hatters are averaging 70.4 points and shooting .440 from the floor at home.  Brittney Chambers is averaging 19.1 ppg and McKenna Beach is averaging 13.3 ppg.  Stetson is also 50-9 over its last 59 ASUN home games, including the postseason.

65 is the Magic Number
Stetson is 10-0 this season when scoring 65 points or more.  The Hatters are 40-2 in their last 42 games when scoring 65 points or more.

Comeback Kids
Stetson has won five games this year when trailing in the fourth quarter and the Hatters have won three games this year in which they trailed by double figures.  The team's largest comeback was a 14-point, fourth-quarter comeback against USC Upstate on Jan. 13 (W, 62-61).

Up Next
Stetson will hit the road to visit NJIT Saturday and USC Upstate Monday.
