Hatters Begin Road Swing at Lipscomb

The Stetson Hatters begin a three-game road swing Saturday afternoon as they visit the Lipsomb Bisons in Nashville, Tenn.  Tip-off at Allen Arena is set for 2:30 p.m. ET with live coverage on ESPN+.

Stetson (6-9 overall) is 1-0 in ASUN play for the first time in six seasons following a 69-52 home victory over Liberty on Tuesday.  Sarah Sagerer led four Hatters in double figures with 20 points and head coach Lynn Bria notched win No. 200 at Stetson.

The Hatters are coming off a six-game homestand in which the team went 5-1.

Lipscomb (2-13, 0-2), meanwhile, dropped a 68-53 decision to UNF on Tuesday.  Carleigh Short scored 21 points to lead the Lady Bisons.

Stetson leads the all-time series 24-7 over Lipscomb.  The Hatters have won 16 straight in the series.

Stetson will be making its third trip to Tennessee and second trip to Nashville this season.  The Hatters played three games at the Challenge in Music City in November and once at the University of Tennessee in December.

As a team, the Hatters lead the ASUN in scoring defense (60.3) and 3-point field goal pct. (.345).

NCAA Statistics
In this week's NCAA statistical rankings, the Hatters rank 48th in blocks-per-game (4.5), 58th in field goal pct. defense (.363), 62nd in 3-point field goal pct. (.345), and 96th in scoring defense (60.3).  Sarah Sagerer ranks 15th in blocks-per-game (2.6).

Team 3-Point Shooting
The Hatters are averaging 7.5 3-point field goals per game, second-most in the ASUN and well up from last year's team average of 4.6.  The Hatters are shooting .345 from the arc overall - good for 62nd in the NCAA.  Stetson has hit 20 3-pointers in the last two games.  Addi Walters leads the team with 29 3s, but overall nine different Hatters have hit from behind the arc.
