Hatters Visit Jacksonville on Wednesday

Stetson men's basketball visits longtime rival Jacksonville in a key ASUN Conference matchup, 7 p.m., Wednesday at JU's Swisher Gym.
 
The Hatters (4-18 overall, 0-7 ASUN) are still seeking their first conference win of the season after suffering an 88-65 loss to Lipscomb. Abayomi Iyiola recorded his fifth double-double of the year with 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Hatters, and Christiaan Jones added 10 points in a losing effort.
 
Jacksonville (9-13, 2-5) enters Wednesday off a 69-59 home loss to ASUN co-leader Liberty. The Dolphins led for most of the game but the Flames closed with a 24-12 run to hand JU the loss.
 
Sophomore guard JD Notae leads the Dolphins in scoring at 15.1 points per game, while Jace Hogan is second at 13.6 ppg. The Dolphins lead the ASUN with 5.6 blocks per game.

•Stetson continues ASUN Conference play on Wednesday when they visit Jacksonville
•Wednesday's game is the 88th meeting in the series between JU and Stetson, a series which began on Feb. 17, 1958
•JU owns a 52-35 advantage in the series and has won the last six meetings against the Hatters
