The Stetson Hatters will begin ASUN play Tuesday night as they welcome conference-newcomer Liberty to the Edmunds Center.  Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. with live coverage on ESPN+.

Tickets start at just $7 for general admission and can be purchased online or at the Edmunds Center box office.  Stetson students, faculty and staff are admitted free with an ID.

Stetson went 5-9 in non-conference action after playing a challenging schedule that featured six teams currently in the Top 100 of the RPI. After a 1-8 start, the Hatters have turned the corner, winning four of their last five including an 81-51 win over Central State on Friday.

"I think this gives us a lot of momentum," senior McKenna Beach said after Friday's victory. "We felt like last game (vs. Penn) we took some steps backwards.  To be able to come out and work on some things we needed to work on, it is going to help us going into conference."

Sarah Sagerer leads the team in scoring (14.6) and rebounding (7.6) heading into ASUN play.  Beach is averaging 11.9 points and 4.3 assists, while Day'Neshia Banks is averaging 10.6 points and 6.8 boards.

For the season, Stetson is averaging 59.8 points-per-game, but the Hatters have been scoring at 67.4 clip during the current six-game homestand.

"We have a lot of things we need to work on, but we have come a long ways since the beginning of the season," Sagerer said.  "We are definitely playing better together."

Liberty, the defending Big South Conference Champions, fell 68-50 at FGCU in their ASUN debut on Saturday.  Emily Lytle leads the Flames (4-10, 0-1) in scoring (12.4 ppg).

Tuesday will be just the second meeting between Stetson and Liberty, and the first since 1996.  The Hatters lead the series 1-0.

Head Coach Lynn Bria will be going for her 200th win at Stetson.  She is 199-138 in her 11th season with the Hatters.

In addition to the ESPN+ broadcast, live stats, the Stetson women's basketball twitter feed, and the HatCheck text messaging service will provide live updates as well.

Up next, the Hatters will travel to Nashville to face Lipscomb on Saturday.
