Hatters Return Home to Face Trinity Baptist

Preview
After a four-game road trip that spanned parts of nine days, the Stetson Hatters will return to the Edmunds Center Saturday to host the Trinity Baptist Eagles.  Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. with live coverage on ESPN+.  

Tickets
Tickets start at just $7 for general admission and can be purchased online or at the Edmunds Center box office.  Stetson students, faculty and staff are admitted free with an ID.  

The All-Time Series
Stetson defeated Trinity Baptist 107-30 on Nov. 14, 2015 in the only previous meeting between the two schools. It was the first game ever to use the four-quarter format, and the Hatters' 38-point first quarter is a school record that still stands today. Stetson had seven players score in double figures.

Trinity Baptist is a member of the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA). The Eagles are a Division II member out of Jacksonville, Fla.

While On The Road
Stetson went 1-3 on its extended road trip, picking up a hard fought 58-55 win at Morehead State on Friday.  The Hatters also dropped a a five-point decision to Saint Francis, a 19-point decision to #13 Kentucky, and a 73-46 decision to #23 Tennessee.


Statistical Leader
Junior Day'Neshia Banks leads the team in points (76), rebounds (38), assists (11-tie), and steals (11). She is coming off a 21-point performance at Tennessee on Tuesday.

Double-Double
Redshirt junior Kennedi Colclough posted her first double-double of the season Tuesday, recording 10 points and 11 rebounds at Tennessee.  It was her fourth career double-double.

Home Cooking
The Hatters went 11-5 at home last season and are 1-0 at home this season.  Stetson is also 52-7 (.881) over its past 59 non-conference home games.

Stetson will visit UCF Wednesday afternoon in Orlando.
