Hatters Host FGCU on Saturday

Stetson men's basketball continues ASUN Conference play on Saturday when the Hatters host FGCU. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+.
 
The Hatters (5-21 overall, 1-10 ASUN) have lost their last two games after suffering a 93-70 defeat to Jacksonville on Wednesday in DeLand. Marques Sumner and Ricardo Lynch led Stetson with 10 points apiece while Abayomi Iyiola grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds.
 
Stetson enters play on Saturday in ninth place in the ASUN standings, one game behind Kennesaw State for the eighth and final spot in the ASUN Tournament. There are five games remaining in the conference season.
 
FGCU (11-16, 6-6) has won four of its last six games including a 57-55 win over NJIT on Wednesday. Graduate transfer Shadrac Casimir leads the Eagles in scoring at 14.7 points per game.

•Saturday's game is the 28th meeting all-time time between the Hatters and Eagles, with FGCU holding a 20-7 advantage in the series.
•FGCU defeated Stetson, 87-65, back on Jan. 20 in Fort Myers
