Stetson will look to get back in the win column Tuesday night when they visit the NJIT Highlanders.  Tip-off at the Wellness and Events Center in Newark is scheduled for 7 p.m. with live coverage on ESPN+.

The Hatters (13-12, 8-3 ASUN) saw their six-game win streak snapped on Saturday with a 70-43 setback to FGCU.  Day'Neshia Banks led Stetson with 19 points and eight rebounds.  She has now scored in double figures in nine straight games and leads the team in scoring (14.1 ppg).  The Hatters remained tied for second place in the ASUN standings with North Alabama.

The Highlanders (5-19, 2-9) have dropped eight straight including a 73-48 contest with Stetson back on Jan. 22.  Banks (18), Addi Walters (16), and McKenna Beach (15) all scored in double figures for the Hatters.  Danielle Tunstall scored 14 points for NJIT.

The Hatters lead the ASUN in field goal pct. defense (.374) and rank second in scoring defense (60.2).  Stetson has held 15 of 25 opponents below 60 points. 

With one more win, Stetson can clinch its ninth straight winning season in conference play.

Turnaround
Since starting the season 1-8, the Hatters are 12-4 in their last 16 games and have won six out of seven.

Block Party 
Megan Vincent leads the ASUN in blocks in all games (47) and in conference games (26).  She currently owns the sixth-highest career blocks total in school history (96) and the eighth-highest single-season blocks total (47).  She has recorded two or more blocks in eight straight games.

This season, the Hatters are:
  • 12-1 when scoring 60 points or more
  • 11-2 when leading at the half
  • 10-0 when leading after three quarters
  • 13-3 when shooting over 40 percent
