Hatters Fall to Abilene Christian

Stetson women's tennis suffered a 6-1 loss to Abilene Christian, Friday at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The Hatters (4-2) were not sharp in either singles or doubles. Head coach Travis Sandlant was not pleased, especially with a match against home-standing Air Force on Saturday

"Our doubles was an awful start today and our inability to adjust and overcome the challenge was very disappointing from a team perspective," Sandlant said. "We are going to have to step it up tomorrow against air force in their home environment."

After getting swept in doubles, the Hatters managed just one singles victory. Sophomore Brooke Milner earned a 7-6 (7-5), 6-4 win at No. 3.

Stetson faces Air Force tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. Eastern.
