Hatters Host FGCU in Saturday ASUN Battle

After nearly a week off, Stetson men's basketball returns to action when the Hatters host FGCU in an ASUN Conference showdown, 4 p.m., Saturday, at Edmunds Center. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+.

The Hatters (7-10 overall, 1-1 ASUN) split their opening conference games last weekend, winning at Kennesaw State (57-54) but falling at home to Lipscomb (66-63). In Saturday's win at Kennesaw State, freshmen Mahamadou Diawara and Rob Perry combined for 31 points and 13 rebounds.

Though certainly glad to be back home, the Hatters are looking to gain some momentum at Edmunds Center. Stetson has lost its last three homes games and owns just a 3-4 overall record in their home arena. The Hatters have lost three of those games by a total of 13 points.

FGCU (4-14, 1-2) comes into Saturday's game following an 89-74 loss on Thursday at North Florida. Caleb Catto led the Eagles with 16 points.
