Stetson will host its first ranked opponent in 21 years Saturday when the 25th-ranked Florida Gulf Coast Eagles travel to DeLand to face the Hatters.  Tip-off at the Edmunds Center is set for 1 p.m. with live coverage on ESPN+.

Stetson (7-8, 1-1) is led by junior Day'Neshia Banks, who ranks third in the ASUN in both scoring (15.9 ppg) and rebounding (8.7 rpg).  She has scored in double figures 13 times this season and has seven double-doubles.

Defensively, the Hatters rank ninth in the NCAA in blocks (82) and 18th in field goal pct. defense (.343).  Megan Vincent has an ASUN-best 36 blocks on the season, good for 16th in the country.

FGCU (15-2, 2-0), meanwhile, enters the contest having won 30 straight ASUN games.  The Eagles lead the nation in 3-point field goals (12.0 per game) and are ranked 25th in the nation in this week's USA Today Coaches Poll.

"I think the keys for us are the same," Stetson head head coach Lynn Bria said.  "You have to rebound.  That's one of the things we've worked on to get better, but it is also something they rely heavily upon, because they want volume 3s.  They want a lot of attempts.  We also know we have to take care of the basketball.  Those two are really the keys to the game."

The Hatters currently rank second in the ASUN in rebounding (41.4 rpg), and the Eagles rank sixth (36.4).  Offensively, FGCU averages nearly 80 points-per-game (79.6).

"We also have to find a way to keep their points down," Bria said.  "They are very balanced offensively. You have to have a team effort. It can't just be one player guarding, and it can't even just be four of them.  Everybody has to be locked in and ready."
