Hatters Sweep Sunday Doubleheader

DeLAND--Stetson men's tennis swept a rare doubleheader on Sunday, downing Bethune-Cookman (5-2) and Florida National (7-0) at Mandy Stoll Tennis Center.
 
The Hatters (2-1) breezed through both matches, losing just four sets overall. Several Hatters had strong days, with Clement Hamel, Alexandre Hillhouse, Sven Thiergard and Tim Gennes each winning twice in singles.
 
In doubles action the tandem of Hillhouse & Hamel won twice, while Josh Laka & Gennes and Fabian Penzkofer & Thiergard each won once.
 
Up next the Hatters host Embry-Riddle, 2 p.m., Sunday.
