Last Time Out
Freshman Kimia Carter scored 15 points off the bench but Stetson fell 57-48 to visiting Liberty Saturday afternoon at the Edmunds Center. A seesaw first half saw the Hatters take a one-point lead into the break. Liberty, however, started the third quarter on a 10-2 run and never trailed the rest of the way. Carter hit backto-back 3-pointers midway through the period to cut the deficit to one, but Liberty pushed the lead back to four by the end of the quarter.

Carter Steps Up
Kimia Carter was 4-for-7 from the floor and a perfect 3-for-3 from behind the arc against Liberty. In conference play, Carter is shooting 42 percent from the floor, 75 percent from the arc (9-for-12), and 78 percent from the free throw line. She is averaging 9.8 ppg in league play.

Big Year on the Boards
The Hatters currently rank second in the ASUN in rebounding (40.9) and rebound margin (+6.3), totals that also rank 51st and 52nd overall, respectively, in the NCAA. Stetson has topped the 40-rebound mark as a team 10 times this season, something they did just four times last season.

Double Figure Scoring
Junior Day'Neshia Banks has scored in double figures in 16 out of 19 games this season, and in 33 of 39 games in her career.
