Hatters Fall at No. 33 UCF

ORLANDO--Stetson men's tennis dropped a 6-1 decision to No. 33 UCF, Sunday at the USTA National Campus.
 
Sophomore Fabian Penzkofer was the only Hatter to emerge victorious on Sunday, earning a 7-6 (2), 0-6, 1-0 (7) win on Court 3.
 
The Hatters (7-4) lost the doubles point as UCF won on Courts 1 and 2.
 
The Knights quickly gained singles victories on Courts 1, 2 and 5 to clinch the team victory.
 
Penzkofer's victory on Court 3 got the Hatters on the board. Stetson nearly got another point on Court 6 as Josh Laka pushed his opponent to the limit before falling 11-9 in the third set super tiebreaker.
 
The Hatters next host Coastal Carolina, 2 p.m., Friday, March 13.
