Noblet Completes USTA Program

Stetson men's tennis coach Christophe Noblet recently completed the USTA's High Performance Coaching Program.

The program, which took nearly three months to complete, is a certification program which is geared toward providing opportunities to help participating coaches in their efforts to develop the next generation of American players.

Coaches had to meet a series of predetermined qualifications to be allowed to enter the program, as the USTA regularly seeks out high-performance coaches.

"This is a coaching seminar that I have been wanting to do for a long time now," Noblet said. "The coaching provided is of the highest level, and the presenters are world class. I brought back a lot of information that will help us refine our daily practice sessions and coaching, and therefore help our players maximize their potential."

The program began with a five-day seminar at the USTA's campus in Lake Nona and continued with an opportunity for coaches to create and complete an in-depth developmental plan which was reviewed by the USTA. Noblet's plan was nearly 40 pages.
